From Southern California, Noreen Schweiss Purkiss, has taught creative movement to young people and beginning ballet for all ages since 1984. Her teaching venues range from the community service program at Mt. San Jacinto College and private studios to the Inland Empire AIDS Project for children. In 2000 Noreen graduated from UC Riverside in 2000 with a BA in dance;  honored with prestigious scholarships.  Through the years, Noreen has trained and performed in Ballet, Modern and Belly Dance. She worked and studied with many dance masters including Fred Strickler, Susan Rose, Bernard Johnson and Stephanie Gilliland. Currently, Noreen enjoys performing with The Movement Alliance dancers as well as her twin daughters, Alannah and Skyler, who are in TMA's Youth Ensemble.
