A Theater in the round

WHAT: The Movement Alliance School’s Holiday Show – A Theatre in the Round

WHEN: Tuesday, December 7th 6-7:30 pm. Doors: 5:45

WHERE: The Movement Alliance School at the NC Oddfellows Hall 212 Spring ST. (above Rogers’ Picture Framing)

ADMISSION: $10. Tickets available at Briar Patch and at the Door

The Movement Alliance School will again perform a concert of dance, surrounded by the audience on 360 degrees. Featured in this three dimensional holiday show will be classes from the school in modern dance, ballet, jazz, and creative movement, with students of all ages. Also of note will be the Sierra College Dance Club, The Movement Alliance Dance Theatre Company with live musical accompaniment by Ben Brown, and the premier of the Junior Company.

New works by Azriel Lamarca, Marissa Hernandez, Marni Marshall, Katherin Odonahu Wilson and Lovie Bucknell will be unveiled by above mentioned dancers in this festive, one night event, for a rich holiday experience. For information please visit www.themovementalliance.org or call 530-277-2046.

TMA School will be preparing for our HOLIDAY SHOW which will be presented in early December for classes to perform in a showcase right in TMA School as it will be transformed into an intimate theatre

Date TBA:  TMA School will again work with Sierra College in sponsoring Master Classes with a professional instructor / choreographer from the San Francisco area sometime this FALL in both Beginning and Intermediate/Advanced levels.  These (one-day on a weekend) classes are usually FREE with pre-registration required and a wonderful way for students to be inspired!
