The Movement Alliance (TMA), a non-profit organization founded in 2002, is dedicated to promoting Modern Dance as an authentic American art form and artistically enriching our community with fresh and innovative work. Currently the company consists of six dancers ranging in age from 20 to 42 years old.
TMA is available throughout the year to perform for other non-profit organizations and fund raisers in the local community. The company is also forming alliances with local artist organizations, as well as other dance companies throughout the country.
TMA produces an email newsletter, “move-news,” which is the unique vital link to relevant news about dance events both locally and regionally. Please join our mailing list!
Long term goals include providing the company members with the opportunity to dance professionally and tour, as well as developing a community outreach program locally.
